Abstraction adalah EP pertama the Ade Anugrah Abstraction, tapi materinya dari draft music project sebelumnya. EP ini menjadi statement kalau aku ingin mencoba hal yang baru dan direksi kreatifnya bersifat idealis. Tidak lagi menjadi karya yang diatur mengikuti selera pasar untuk diakui, tapi dicipta untuk menjadi hidden gem bagi orang tertentu.

Ketiga track dalam EP ini memiliki genre berupa campuran RnB dan orchestral. Terinspirasi dari beberapa Band instrumental seperti DLO3 dan Khruangbin.

Ketiga judul track ini, berasal dari judul-judul lukisan abstrak yang aku temukan di buku Abstract Painting: Fifty Years of Accomplishment from Kandinsky to Jackson Pollock.
